What do you mean by "traditional" type Shar-Pei? Traditional type simply means what it is originally found in its place of origin, Dali, a town in southern China in the province of Guangdong.
Is Dali and Dailek refers to the same place? Yes, in Putonghua (mandarin) language, the town is pronounced Dali, but in local Cantonese dialect it is pronounced Dailek. Depending on the translation, the Cantonese pronounciation can be written as Dailet, Dailek, Tai Li, Tailek, etc. but they all refer to the same place.
In Chinese, all are written the same way but pronounced differently according to the local dialect. That's why one news paper in one writing can be read by people all over China. Each place only read it differently.
